Dear athletes, volunteers, partners and community,<\/p>\n
we have done everything in our power to make a Master of Disaster 2020 possible Unfortunately we have to surrender to the current guidelines. The Master of Disaster 2020 is cancelled and will be postponed to 2021. In the last weeks we have been in close contact with the sports office of Basel-Landschaft, who welcomed us with open arms. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the canton. We had every encouragement. Unfortunately, the measures that now apply in Switzerland are not feasible for us.<\/p>\n
In the last months we have put all our heart and soul into this project. We would like to thank you all. The athletes who overran us with the registrations. The MoD was sold out in 3 categories within 10 minutes. The over 60 registered volunteers without whom the whole thing would never work and above all our sponsors, who are still supporting us in financially difficult times. We are thankful for this number of great people and are very sad to have to make this announcement today.<\/p>\n
All teams will keep their spot and will be automatically carried over into 2021. So you do not have to worry. We wish you all the best, stay healthy and that we can look forward to a great event in 2021.<\/p>\n
